Gijima, a leading South African ICT company, is offering 50 internship opportunities for students completing their 3-year IT-related qualification and requiring Work Integrated Learning (WIL).
This internship focuses on IT Support disciplines such as Communication Networks, Support Services, and Computer Systems, and aims to provide hands-on experience in a corporate IT environment while helping learners fulfill their academic requirements.
Responsibilities:

Assist IT support teams in troubleshooting, maintaining, and resolving technical issues

Support internal users with hardware, software, and networking under supervision

Contribute to the setup, maintenance, and configuration of IT systems

Gain practical exposure to IT operations in a corporate environment

Follow company policies and safety standards

Complete all WIL learning modules and tasks

Maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Collaborate with team members to achieve performance targets

Submit progress reports or logs as required by your institution
Qualifications:

Must require WIL to complete a 3-year tertiary IT qualification

Recommendation letter from tertiary institution (not a pre-WIL letter)

Recent academic results (stamped and certified)

Currently unemployed and not in another internship/learnership

Matric with English and Mathematics

Aged 18–35 years as of 1 August 2025

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

No criminal record

Must reside in Gauteng (no relocation support)

Must be a South African citizen
