The Role
As a Research Assistant, you will:
-
Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting on various research projects
-
Support fieldwork activities including interviews, surveys, and community engagement
-
Contribute to literature reviews, desktop research, and document preparation
-
Collaborate with senior researchers to produce impactful research outputs
-
Maintain accurate records and ensure quality control of data collected
Requirements
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must:
-
Be an unemployed South African graduate
-
Hold a relevant Degree or National Diploma in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, or related fields
-
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-
Be committed, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
-
Be available to work full-time for the full 24-month contract duration
