Job Description

SAVF Môreglans is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Auxiliary Nurse to provide quality care and support to our elderly and disabled residents. If you're passionate about nursing and working in a close-knit, values-driven team, this is your opportunity to serve with purpose and heart.

The Role

As an Auxiliary Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on care to residents, promoting comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. Your daily duties will include:

• Caring for elderly and disabled individuals with empathy and professionalism

• Working shift hours as part of a dedicated care team

• Taking initiative and leadership when needed during shifts

• Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness in all ward areas

• Performing general nursing tasks in line with professional standards

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• SAPS police clearance

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Auxiliary Nurse

• Valid indemnity cover

• Proficiency in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)

• Sound knowledge of care practices for the elderly and people with disabilities

• A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team setting
