The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a public-private initiative led by the Presidency to tackle youth unemployment in South Africa. Eskom is offering 12-month job opportunities to young, unemployed South Africans in the Retail Operations division. This initiative is a chance to gain meaningful experience within one of the country’s vital sectors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a South African Citizen

• Aged between 18 to 34

• Grade 12 or equivalent and/or post matric certificate/programme

Selection Criteria:

• Should not have been employed permanently by one employer for more than 1 year

• Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment

• Should not have previously participated in the YES initiative

• Applicants will undergo a recruitment process and, if successful, will be placed across various Eskom divisions
